Community gathering recap: Transforming learning from passive to engaging
The recent Makeshapes Community Gathering brought together our amazing community to connect, share, and inspire. It was fantastic to see so many passionate learning and development professionals in one place!
We kicked things off by diving into some of the biggest talent and training challenges facing organizations today. It was great to hear from Angela Ford from One NZ about how they're using Makeshapes to maintain consistent messaging, deliver training rapidly, and keep their teams engaged.We also heard from Candice Collier and Katie Brentnall from Westpac NZ, who shared how they transformed their learning approach from passive to active with Makeshapes. They've seen some truly exceptional results, including standout ratings for leader-led sessions.
Of course, no Makeshapes event would be complete without a sneak peek at what's new. We were excited to launch a bunch of new features, including interactive quizzes, dynamic slideshows, email sequences, and automated reporting.
But the highlight of the gathering was undoubtedly the sense of community. It was inspiring to see so many people sharing their experiences, insights, and best practices. We're already looking forward to the next one!
